Cyber Crimes

Cybercrimes involve computers and/or networks used in the commission of and/or targeted for crimes by highly sophisticated perpetrators.  These types of cases typically include various breaches and illegal acts of computer hacking, copyright infringement, identity theft and child pornography, and can often be high profile.  Cybercrime and privacy concerns often occur when confidential information has been lost or intercepted, lawfully or otherwise.  There has been a significant increase in the number of international cyber-attacks in recent years.  In fact, In 2013 there was a 91% increase in targeted attack campaigns and a 62% increase in computer network security breaches in the United States.
